Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.1) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages OS: Linux Hi! kNode has a nice feature in the editor window called "add box" (tools menu). I'd love to see this in kMail as well. BTW: Would it be possible/easy/sensible to use a common editor window for both kMail and kNode? As I understand it both do essentially the same thing so two different editor windows in both apps look like a lot of dublicated effort. (Not that this is generally a bad thing.) Greetings, Gunter

What does this "Add box" do?
It simply adds a visual "frame" using "ASCII art" which can be used to emphasize / mark sections within the message, eg. labels etc. ,----[ Box Example, showing original report text ] | kNode has a nice feature in the editor window called "add box" (tools menu). | I'd love to see this in kMail as well. | | BTW: Would it be possible/easy/sensible to use a common editor window for both | kMail and kNode? Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented. Thank you for your understanding.
Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
Yes, this functionality is not yet implemented as of kMail 4.9 and sometimes it would be a handy feature to emphasize / quote fragments in text-only emails.
