Description Markus Rippl 2003-03-24 12:34:16 UTC
Version: 1.5 (using KDE 3.1.0)
Installed from: Gentoo
Compiler: gcc version 3.2.2
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.20

At the moment, ordered display of multiple IMAP accounts is only possible by renaming the accounts like "1 - foo" "2 - bar" etc.
I would like to be able to set the order of my accounts manually in the Options Dialog. ("move up - move down" buttons)

Furtheron, kmail confuses the assigned sent and drafts folders when imap accounts are renamed (assignements are not updated automagically)

Both are duplicate

I think this bug is no duplicate to 35773, because my wish is to be able to modify the order of _multiple_ IMAP accounts in the folder pane. This does not concern the order of subfolders within an account.
Sorry if my first attempt to describe the wish was misleading.
(tnx to Jan Kuipers <bokkepoot@home.nl> for the hint, i forgot about that bug)

I suggest to reopen the bug for that reason.

If we implement 35773 you'll be able to move around all your accounts and the folders within - so it's duplicate.

I doubt that a presentation feature like the sort order of multiple IMAP accounts (which is a feature local to kmail) is going to be the same as moving(/renaming) a subfolder on IMAP1/Todo/A to IMAP1/Done/A (Or even from IMAP1/Todo/A to IMAP2/Foo/A)
