Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1) Installed from: I Don't Know Compiler: gcc 3.2 OS: Linux It would be nice to have the option to re-scan the list of directories for new files (or removed files) without having to quite juk and re-start it. Thanks, Ilan
Would it be possible to instead use KDirWatch, to have them pop up automaticly? That would be nice, but maybe it's too slow if you have a lot of files?
Subject: Re: add re-scan directories option I just added some code to CVS so that JuK will automatically detect when you add files to the directories that you've specified with Open Directory. So even better than rescanning -- it does it automatically. :-)
Doesn't work for me. If I move a new .mp3 to a directory I've added to a playlist before, it won't be recognized, even if I restart juk. The same if I remove a file from a given dir. I have to manually add / remove the file to get an actual playlist. I'm using self-compiled juk 1.1.1 with KDE 3.1.2 / Debian unstable.
Sorry, I'm using juk 1.1, not 1.1.1, of course :-)
