Description J 2003-03-03 23:11:17 UTC
Version: 3.1.0 (using KDE 3.1.0)
Installed from: SuSE
Compiler: gcc version 3.2
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.19-4GB

After upgrading to KDE 3.1 on a Suse 8.1, Konqueror as file manager crashes - always immediately after startup. It draws the directory content and then immediately crashes.

Konqueror as web browser works fine. KDE 3.0 also worked fine, for upgrade, the "official" upgrade rpms for Suse 8.1 from www.kde.org were useed.

Here is the backtrace:

(Other then that, KDE 3.1 appears to run ok.)

Disable sound previews as a workaround
