Version: (using KDE 3.1.0) Installed from: compiled sources Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (release) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.20 If you have a TEXTAREA in a page and select some text in it and after that you go outside this TEXTAREA and select some regular page text you can not copy it using CTRL+C. It works well if you don't click the TEXTAREA before. For example, go to http://babelfish.altavista.com/babelfish/tr and enter "test", select "English to Spanish" and click on "Translate". On the next page, select a part of the original word "test", for example "est". Then, select the translated word ("prueba") and try to copy it. Now, when copying the text into some editbox or smtn, not the selected word "prueba" will appear, but the previous selected part of the word "test", "est" will appear.
Actually, the bug will also work in the textarea I am typing this message right now
I also see this in Konqueror 3.1.0 compiled with gcc 3.2.1. I think this bug may be a duplicate of bug #58287.
