Description Jesper Juhl 2003-02-02 00:37:25 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.0.99)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources

current behaviour:
When clicking 'Get new articles in all groups' Knode retrieves the new articles from the subscribed groubs in the order the subscribed groups are listed.

wanted new behaviour:
If a newsgroup is highlighted and being viewed by the user and 'Get new articles in all groups' is clicked, then Knode should first retrieve new articles for the highlighted group, and /then/ sequentially for the rest of the groups.
This behaviour would be nice when you are subscribed to a lot of (very active) groups and you are viewing articles from one of the bottom groups in the list of subscribed groups. Since it can take a long time for Knode to go through all the groups and get the articles for the group currently being read (the group the user is most likely to want new articles retrieved from fast).

I hope that makes sense. If not, just say so and I'll try to ellaborate.
