Description Stefan Winter 2003-01-28 09:06:35 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

Hello!

It is a nice feature that the mail headers in IMAP folders are cached. However, it would be an even better enhancement if KMail could also save the contents of messages. I have several large e-mails in my IMAP folder, and every time I change between messages they are downloaded again.
I haven't been using M$ Products (i.e. Outlook Express) for a while, but the local message cache is one feature I really miss.

Regards,

Stefan Winter

In KDE 3.2 KMail will have support for disconnected IMAP which essentially caches everything locally.
