Description cryst 2003-01-24 04:14:55 UTC
Version: 1.5 (using KDE 3.1.0 (RC5))
Installed from: Gentoo
Compiler: gcc version 3.2.1
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.19-gentoo-r10

I've been using this version of kmail for a few months without problems, but just recently noticed that my trash folder was empty. Today I was deleting spam from my inbox, and the trash folder stayed empty. The folder appears to be ok, as I can move a piece of spam to it, and it is there.

So I'm wondering why it's behaviour has suddenly changed. Corrupted folders? Wierd macro?

How can I narrow this down?

Go to Help | Introduction to KMail:

you'll see:
IMPORTANT CHANGE: The 'Delete' Action now irrevocably deletes messages. Use
'Move to Trash' to put messages into the trashcan.

Is that it?
