Description Raul Fernandes 2003-01-17 00:44:18 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.0.99)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
Compiler: gcc 3.2.1
OS: Linux

There's a annoying bug in the konqueror 3.1_rc6. If I mount a cdrom and access
it through konqueror, the cdrom cannot be unmounted until the konqueror is
closed. I have only to access the cdrom. Even if I leave the directory where
the cdrom is mounted, the konqueror blocks the unmounting.
In konqueror 3.1_rc5, the konqueror never blocks the unmounting.
This happens with the kfiledialog too. I have reproduced this bug with the kwrite too. Open the filedialog to open a file, access the directory where the cdrom is mounted and the cdrom cannot be unmonted until the kwrite is closed.

Again, How could that be solved ? It's still there in Konqueror 3.1.3

it's a problem with FAM. Disable fam daemon or wait til 3.2, there it's said to be fixed for sure.
