Version: 1.5 (using KDE 3.1.0 (RC6)) Installed from: compiled sources Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.3 2.96-113) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.18-18.7.x After trying to get gpg to work again in kmail, I wondered why there isn't an option to manualy verify a signature. This would be usefull for those who don't use auto-retrieve per default as it slows down the system in some cases. clicking on the key, and the key-submenu would be logical places for such a feature. An other alternative could be to set the status to unchecked and start an external process for retrieving the key.
