Version: (using KDE KDE 3.0.99) Installed from: Gentoo Packages OS: Linux This bug probably only occurs on localized versions: When using the "--tg %genre" option, kaudiocreator passes the localized genre name to Lame. For example (German) "Others"=>"Andere"=> Lame error: "Unknown genre: Andere. Specify genre name or number" Lame refuses to continue on this error. The used version of lame was 3.93. Passing numeric genre values would certainly be the best solution.

This bug is still present in KDE 3.2.1. BTW there a few bugs related to the same problem.
The bug is still present under Kubuntu Breezy with KDE 3.5.1. It would also be nicer if local names would be possible. Kaudiocreator simply doesn't work now! On my machine I also can't work with Kaudiocreator after that without restarting the system!
I have exactly the same problem with kubuntu breezy. This bug is not resolved.
Bug is still present in Kubuntu Dapper (Beta)
Bug is still existing kaudiocdcreator 1.13 on Suse Linux 10.1.
