Created attachment 189682 [details] STEPS TO REPRODUCE SUMMARY In the Network Settings, modified parameters—such as the MTU size or manual IPv4 addresses—are saved but not applied to the active connection. The user must manually disconnect and reconnect the network interface for the changes to be reflected in the system. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open System Settings and navigate to Wi-Fi & Internet. 2. Select an active Wired or Wi-Fi connection. 3. Change a setting (e.g., change IPv4 from Automatic to Manual and assign an IP, or change the MTU value). 4. Click the "Apply" button. 5. Check the interface status in the terminal (e.g., using 'ip addr' or 'ifconfig'). OBSERVED RESULT The UI saves the settings, but the network interface continues to use the old configuration. The changes only apply after "Disconnect" and then "Connect" again. EXPECTED RESULT Clicking "Apply" should either automatically trigger a connection refresh or prompt the user that a reconnection is required to apply the new settings.
