Does `ddcutil detect` fail to find the monitor with DDC/CI turned off monitor-side?
$ ddcutil detect Invalid display I2C bus: /dev/i2c-4 DRM_connector: card0-HDMI-A-1 EDID synopsis: Mfg id: CMT - UNK Model: GA25FC Product code: 9650 (0x25b2) Serial number: xxxxxxxxxxxx Binary serial number: 0 (0x00000000) Manufacture year: 2025, Week: 29 This monitor does not support DDC/CI. (I2C slave address x37 is unresponsive.)
I suppose it also shouldn't appear with HDR where brightness is managed by software. I will mark this as CONFIRMED.
