Version: 0.7.1 (using KDE KDE 3.0.5) Installed from: Compiled From Sources Compiler: gcc (GCC) 3.2 OS: Linux It would be really nice if a threading order could be specified whereby the top level article in the threads are order by _decending_ date order (i.e. newest at the top) but all articles below are in _ascending_ date order (i.e. oldest first). In this way you can easily read the progression of any individual thread but still have the newest threads at the top of the list. Cheers, Geoff
I was just about to add this as a wishlist item myself :) I'll vote for this feature! Having the newest thread at the top of the list is very nice, but it's very annoying when you unfold the thread to have to read the articles from the bottom to read the articles in the posted order... It's a lot more intuitive to follow the thread with newest posts first. The current behaviour is not very intuitive.
I am of this opinion, too! I'll instantly vote for this feature!
I wish for this, too! Anyone out there capable of implementing this?
Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug.

After 16 years I'd forgotten about this. Newsgroups are so last century :) Still, thanks for letting me and the voters know. All the best! -- Geoff
