SUMMARY
I have a PDF file (one page) with a technical drawing with some colors. It looks good on display. But the colors are too dark when printed. 
The colors come out very good when printed with other programs. I tested it with Inkscape and with Firefox. In all cases the same printer driver was used with the same print settings.
