Description Jaime Torres 2026-02-08 17:33:05 UTC
SUMMARY
When previewing (listening) an mp3 file in a usb stick and you stop the listening and continue moving around, the mp3 file is kept open and the usb stick can't be unmounted.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Mount a non permanent filesystem with music in it.
2. Preview a song.
3. Stop the preview.
4. Continue using dolphin.
5. Try to unmount the filesystem. lsof say dolphin is using the song file.
6. Preview another song in another filesystem.
7. Now the filesystem can be unmounted.

OBSERVED RESULT
The file is kept opened until a new file is going to be previewed.

EXPECTED RESULT
The opened file is closed as soon as the file is no longer being preview.
