Description aronkvh 2026-02-06 20:32:54 UTC
SUMMARY
If you scan something and save all, it overwrites the file named "New document.pdf" if it already exists.
Since it doesn't ask for confirmation, it can lead to data loss.

Not sure if it's actually "major", but you can end up loosing an important document without realizing what has happened.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Scan some pages
2. Click "Save all" in the toolbar

EXPECTED RESULT
It should either tell you that there is a file name conflict, or append (n) at the end of the filename.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Skanpage 25.12.1 from Fedora repo.
Fedora Linux 43
KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.22.0
Qt Version: 6.10.1
