"No game controller found" while the Bluetooth applets does show it

SUMMARY
Title and attached picture.

Controller shows fine in the Bluetooth applet but doesn't appear on systemsetting's kcm, thus no way to configure it.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Connect a wireless controller via BT
2. Open Game Controller KCM

OBSERVED RESULT
"No game controllers found"

EXPECTED RESULT
My controller should show up fine as it did in older versions of KWin
