Description mateMat 2026-02-06 15:35:14 UTC
SUMMARY
Exchanging important email via PGP. The conversation did not get by default encrypted despite the "encryption Key approval" setting popup configured to "Encrypt whenever encryption is possible" being set.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Get your work email to use PGP on Kmail 6.6
2. Send a couple of encrypted emails to your favorite co-worker
3. when the popup "encryption Key approval" setting popup configured it to "Encrypt whenever encryption is possible".
3. Every time you reply to him from a decrypted email, the draft is not set to activate encryption.

OBSERVED RESULT
A communication was send without being encrypted, breach of confidentiality.
