Description Protoniv 2026-02-06 13:09:57 UTC
SUMMARY
If using a drawing tablet, the cursor will always shown as crosshair, which is Wayland default, and cannot be changed no matter what is being set in krita cursor setting `General > Cursor`, or any tools with its own cursor {Panning canvas, free hand selections, etc}

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Launch krita 6 with 'export QT_QPA_PLATFORM=wayland' env
2. Use a drawing tablet, and switching cursor shape in Setting > General > Cursor
3. Or switch to other tools (Move Tool, Selection tool, Pan tool) with drawing tablet

OBSERVED RESULT
Still wayland default crosshair cursor

EXPECTED RESULT
Switch to its own corsor
