Created attachment 189215 [details] Recording which shows the issue SUMMARY Whenever I drag on a highlighted string of text in a file with a lot of stuff in it, a big black rectangle appears, which spans across both of my monitors. Open Kate 2. Create a new file 3. Put a lot of text into it 4. Highlight a string of text and drag it OBSERVED RESULT A big black rectangle appears when dragging the text EXPECTED RESULT Text appears as it should - like it does when there is not a lot of stuff in the text file.
