Description Bart Ribbers 2026-02-04 15:02:12 UTC
SUMMARY
Sometimes I like to mark a room as read without actually reading it, for example because I know there is a conversation going on in the room that I do not care about and just want to get rid of the unread marker. I can do so by holding the room in the room list and clicking "Mark as read", however that for some reason opens the room.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have a room with unread messages
2. On the room overview, hold the room until the bottom drawer sheet opens
3. Click "Mark as read"

OBSERVED RESULT
The room opens.

EXPECTED RESULT
The room to stay closed. The whole point of marking it as read from there is to not have to open the room.
