SUMMARY I used to use kcalc for converting between hexadecimal and decimal all the time but this feature went with the individual number base select buttons. I used to be able to add decimal and hexadecimal numbers using this feature. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. enter FFFFFFFF in hex mode 2. switch to decimal mode 3. OBSERVED RESULT The FFFFFFFF remains in the display and pressing any keys displays syntax error although the small display at the bottom gives decimal, octal and binary these displays are useless because I cannot copy them to paste into a file EXPECTED RESULT The FFFFFFFF is replaced by 4294967295 SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS KCalc: 25.04.3 KDE Frameworks: 6.16.0 Qt: Using 6.9.1 and built against 6.9.1 openSUSE Leap 16.0 (Xcb) Build ABI: x86_64-little_endian-lp64 Kernel: linux 6.12.0-160000.20-default ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
you can use right click to copy from those
(In reply to Gabriel Barrantes from comment #1) > you can use right click to copy from those Right click and copy does work and by pasting back into kcalc I can perform calculations. This is a workaround, thanks
