Description Zac 2026-02-03 07:43:27 UTC
I was creating a view for my SSD, and I am unable to find the temperature being reported by the hard drive.

I know it's available, since I can see it with other tools and on Windows.

Do you know how it's reported? Is the output visible in sensors or via smart?

Unfortunately I am not aware of how the data is being retrieved. I have included two screenshots, for how I have seen it in the past.

One is from the Windows settings: System->Storage->Advanced Storage settings->Disks&Volumes->Properties (for the NVMe in question)

I have also included a screenshot from CrystalDiskInfo, that shows the temp.

Disk temperatures are indeed available via SMART and are not exposed in KSystemStats.

Some disks, like NVMe are exposed via the lmsensors backend.
