SUMMARY  
Kate opens two comparison tool windows when using “Compare with Active Document Using…” instead of one.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
Open two files in Kate so that both appear as tabs.
Right‑click one of the file tabs.
Select “Compare with Active Document Using…” and choose Meld or Kompare.

OBSERVED RESULT  
The selected comparison tool opens two separate windows instead of a single comparison window.

EXPECTED RESULT  
Only one comparison window should open, showing the diff between the two selected documents.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS  
Linux: Ubuntu 25.10
KDE Plasma Version: 6.4.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.17.0
Qt Version: 6.9.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The issue occurs consistently with both Meld and Kompare.
Reproducible every time using the steps above.

Can not reproduce that with Kate 25.12.1 and Kompare.
