SUMMARY
I use pipewire to send audio from my laptop to the speakers connected to my desktop computer, via local network. Pipewire creates a virtual sound device to do it, and I cannot rename it in Sound KCM,

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. configure pipewire to send audio via local network
2. open Sound KCM
3. click on "Rename devices..."
4. edit the name of the virtual sound device used to send audio via local network
5. click on "Save" button

OBSERVED RESULT
inline error message saying "Failed to handle devices: tunnel.Arch-PC.local.alsa_output.pci-0000_00_1b.0.analog-stereo." seen in the attached screenshot.

EXPECTED RESULT
we are able to rename the device without any error
