Description michel.coste74@free.fr 2026-01-29 22:08:51 UTC
When processing pictures with faces already defined in XnView (in XMP:mwg-rs : Regions.AppliedToDimensions.xxx and Regions.RegionList[1].Area.yyy) if I search new faces the faces are destroyed :
- in XMP:mwg-rs there is only 3 items of the original 3 + 7n ones (with n the number of faces)
- an new XMP:MP appears with a RegionInfo.Regions[1].PersonDisplayName	and a RegionInfo.Regions[1].Rectangle with 'inf, inf, inf, inf' as value !
- the original IPTC-IIM:Keywords is destroyed and replaced by a new one loosing the original settings (what I want in the keyword !!)
- a lot of 'garbage' (perhaps to make other applications happy) is added : MicrosoftPhoto, acdsee, digiKam, mediapro)

I found the bug after a batch processing of 7963 pictures (by change not all with face recognition).
