Description Christian (Fuchs) 2026-01-28 19:01:54 UTC
SUMMARY
Plasmashell completley freezes if I have many notifications (e.g. missed calendar events) and log in.
After killing plasmashell hard (SIGKILL on a terminal) and restarting it, the same amount of noitifcations is perfectly fine

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Configure something that will generate a lot of notifications on log in, e.g. add 20-30 missed calendar events
2. Log in and have plasmashell start up

OBSERVED RESULT
Plasma freezes after the second batch of notifications and must be killed

EXPECTED RESULT
Plasma can handle that

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: Fedora Linux 43

Reproducible for me all the time if I log in to my desktop after not having it used for a few days (and thus collecting lots of missed calendar event notifications)
