Thanks for the bug report. We need more detail in order to understand what's happening. When you say "He's dead, Jim.", can you explain what's actually happening on your system? What exactly do you see when you connect or disconnect the HDMI cable? Also, can you provide system logs for just before and just after the cable plug event? Thanks.
When I disconnect the screen while on PLM the system dies and I have to reboot. When I connect the screen while on PLM the system dies and I have to reboot. I can't provide logs just before/after because the system dies and I have to reboot.
