Created attachment 188956 [details] screenshots showing issue SUMMARY An apparent KMyMoney 5.2.1 reconciled date field width issue in Windows 10 on the “Home” tab, in the “Assets and Liabilities Summary” section. The reconciled date has to “wrap” as the field it is in does not appear to be wide enough. With the same KMyMoney version the date display is correct in Windows 11. It is also correct using the same KMyMoney Linux AppImage version in Ubuntu 24.04.3. I changed the width of the KMyMoney windows and this had no affect on th "wrapped" date. I will attach a PDF with some screenshots. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. A Windows 10 installation of KMyMoney 2. Have KMyMoney setup so that on the "Home" tab the “Assets and Liabilities Summary” section is displayed 3. Reconcile an account OBSERVED RESULT The "Home" tab the “Assets and Liabilities Summary” section has a "wrapped" reconciled date. EXPECTED RESULT The "Home" tab the “Assets and Liabilities Summary” section reconciled date should not be "wrapped". SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: 10 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I note that an apparently similar issue has been reported in bug 505510. However, that bug is for KMyMoney on Linux systems. I do not observed the issue on my Linux system, only on Windows 10.
I am unable to duplicate this with KMyMoney Version 5.2.1-99597f4 on Win10 Pro 22H2

I tried a few other things, but unfortunately I suspect the results will not help very much. On the Windows 10 PC I orginally saw the issue on, KMyMoney was installed for all users. So I ran KMyMoney under another "user" account and also under an "admin" account. The result was the same, a wrapping date field. I then installed KMyMoney on another Windows 10 PC. The Windows 10 details being: Edition Windows 10 Home Version 22H2 Installed on 20/09/2020 OS Build 19045.6332 The result was the same, a wrapping date field. I originally saw this issue on my "real" KMyMoney data file, but also created a small test file which showed the issue. I used this test file for the original screenshots I attached to this ticket. I will upload this test file as well. It is not a major issue for me, and the KMyMoney installation default has this reconcile date field display disabled. So without being to pinpoint the issue any further for you, I suspect this is as far as it can go at the moment.
