SUMMARY I have a laptop with a built in touchscreen. When I first bought it, I could usually pinch to zoom in applications like xournal++. This would work without issue. On the 5th of November I updated my whole system and suddenly the pinch to zoom feature no longer worked. With a Live OS I checked if the pinch to zoom worked on a older of KDE Plasma (6.2.0) and it did. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Try to pinch to zoom in Version 6.5.1 - 6.5.5 OBSERVED RESULT It tries to swipe up and down at the same time, causing the screen to freak out and sometimes puts the cursor into top left corner and presses whatever is there EXPECTED RESULT I zoom into (or out of) Picture/Document/Other file SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: EndeavourOS / 6.5.5 KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.22.0 Qt Version: 6.10.1 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Laptop used : Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Yoga Gen 6
Just figured out, it works on a NixOS LiveOS with KDE Plasma 6.5.5. I suspect it then may be an Arch/EndeavourOS issue.
