Description Herbert Graeber 2002-12-05 00:02:13 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.0.4)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
Compiler: gcc 3.2
OS: Linux

During fast skipping over unread messages using the '+' hotkey, kmail has read new mail out of the mailbox. Since then the folder shows five unread messages, but the are none unread messages left. This wrong count is permanent, the wrong count doesn't go away after restarting kmail.

same happens with imap folders
Comment 2 Ferdinand Gassauer 2003-09-14 20:43:54 UTC
mooving unread messages to another imap folder changes the status to read
Comment 3 Ferdinand Gassauer 2003-10-13 07:53:44 UTC
I use a 3.1.4 in the office and CVS at home.

If I leave some unread messages on one system, the other one shows the headers
marked as unread, but the counter in the folder tree does not count/show these
unread messages.

I can not confirm the bug mentioned in the first posting.but it might be still
there.

Same underlying issue as 65005 and there's more info in that one.
