SUMMARY When sharing my screen during a Google Meet call, the screen cast freezes after some time. To be clear, it's not my screen that freezes, but actually other people in the call stop seeing updates on my screen, so it appears frozen to them. Also, it does not happen immediately. It works for some time (usually for a few minutes) and then it freezes. And it affects multiple machines: it has happened on 3 of my machines, but the time it takes to freeze varies a lot. I get the same results in Firefox and Chromium-based browsers. I've been having this problem for at least the last 6 months. I've seen a related complaint on Reddit (one of the comments refer to freezes in Google Meet): https://www.reddit.com/r/kde/comments/1qdq4ws/google_meet_virtual_backgrounds_not_working_in/ STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Join a Google Meet call 2. Share the screen 3. Wait long enough then the screen will freeze to participants in the call OBSERVED RESULT Other participants in the call are unable to see updates on my screen, it appears frozen to them. EXPECTED RESULT No freezes Please, let me know if there are other information that can help fix this problem.
