SUMMARY

This has happened to me couple times, and I do not know what exactly causes it, but when opening/closing windows (usually librewolf with hardware rendering on), kwin decides to change resolution to something smaller out of nowhere, without any user input.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open various windows that use hardware rendering (idk if that is proper term but anyway)
2. Occasionally journal is full of logs from kwin saying: Atomic modeset test failed! Cannot allocate memory

OBSERVED RESULT
The journal keeps spamming this until resolution gets changed

To add, dmesg does not show anything else except:

Tons of spam for overlayfs, doubt it's related

And unsure if this is related either, might be somewhat around same time as the journal spam, but likely not
