SUMMARY
Kcolorchooser works perfectly under Wayland, but I configured my desktop to follow focus under mouse and use Desktop effect "Dim inactive".
So, when Kcolorchooser is active, all other windows are dimmed, so the color I pick is the dimmed version of the color I need.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Configure Dim Inactive Desktop effect
2. Start kcolorchooser
3. Click Pick Screen Color

OBSERVED RESULT
The color picked from any window other than kcolorchooser is the dimmed version

EXPECTED RESULT
If kcolorchooser had a configurable delay like Spectacle, I could focus the target window before the picker became active.
