# Problem

Kde open file dialog doesn't have a search feature, there is only a filter feature via `Ctrl-i`  but it doesn't perform recursive directory filtering, and doesn't support regex and additional searching abilities.  
Although there is a hacky way by using `baloosearch:<directory>?query=<regex>` and other various baloosearch options, but a gui solution is what's needed for such use case

A search feature ( like the one in dolphin ) would provide a better UX, for example the ability to batch select and open...
