Description FSA 2026-01-15 19:34:33 UTC
SUMMARY
NetworkManager has implemented CLAT functionality, a mechanism for smooth transition from IPv4 to IPv6 networks. The functionality has been implemented and the patch should be included in the main development branch in the near future. The most important flag for connections is ipv6.clat. In the current version (at the moment), this flag must be used to enable CLAT. The current values are default|yes|no. In future versions, another option should appear - auto. We would like to see this functionality in the upcoming versions of KDE Framework.

Comment 1 FSA 2026-01-24 09:23:46 UTC
CLAT support has been added to the main NetworkManager branch. The property has been moved to ipv4.clat.
