SUMMARY

In overview mode (triggered by the default Meta+w shortcut), the search box used to be focused by default. This was convenient. For several months now, the search box is not focused anymore and Ctrl+F doesn't focus it either. I need to explicitly click on it in order to focus it.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Meta + W to trigger overview mode
2. Start typing what you search

OBSERVED RESULT

Nothing is searched as the search box is not focused.

EXPECTED RESULT

What I type should fill the search box, triggering a search on my input.

Operating System: Debian GNU/Linux 13
KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.4

I can't reproduce this issue with current git master, soon to be Plasma 6.6. Either it's already been fixed, or it's caused by a local issue on your system. Thanks for reporting it anyway!
