Description chris 2026-01-12 16:24:50 UTC
SUMMARY
Currently Kasts defaults to sorting podcasts from old-to-new. When you use the sort drop down it reorders the existing library of podcasts but when new podcasts are added they are still added oldest-to-newest so if you want them to appear at the top you need to re-sort often.

Would it be possible to make the sort drop down be a permanent selection?

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Select some podcasts feeds and hit refresh
2. Use the sort drop down to reorder from new-to-old
3. Wait for some new podcasts from the feeds
4. Hit refresh

OBSERVED RESULT
New podcasts get added at the bottom of the list

EXPECTED RESULT
Podcasts permanently added from new-to-old
