Hi! The faces are being recognized and face regions are being stored in the database. However, I haven't confirmed any faces yet. When I enhance and save the scanned photos using batch processing, these photos no longer have face regions. I have to run the face recognition again. Would it be possible to copy the face regions from the database for the new photo as well? If I enhance the photo myself using the editor, the face regions remain in the _v1 file. Or have I overlooked something in the settings? Regards Andy
If you select the "overwrite file" option, the faces will be preserved. When creating a new image in BQM, we don't copy the face rectangles. This probably doesn't make much sense, as editing steps would likely invalidate the face regions. One possibility would be to delete the faces if any were present in the original image and automatically start face detection for the new BQM image. Maik
Hmm. When I use the editor and automatic color correction, the facial areas remain. But when I do the same with batch processing, all facial areas disappear. Apparently, the two modules have different workflows. Then I can also disable facial recognition for newly added photos in the settings and save time. At least as long as I'm scanning the old photos and slides. Andy
