Advanced Radio Player Widget presents an error: "Error: Your GTreamer installation is missing a plug-in." and no radio is played. Which one(s) is/are missing? It would be good to have the plugin requirements listed in the Readme (external pages may change without notice). System and versions: Advanced Radio Player 2.4, installed via Kubuntu `Add Widgets` Operating System: Kubuntu 24.04 KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.12 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.115.0 Qt Version: 5.15.13 Kernel Version: 6.14.0-37-generic (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11
Thank you for the bug report! However Plasma 5.27.12 no longer receives updates or maintenance from KDE; active versions are 6.4 or newer. Please upgrade to an active version as soon as your distribution makes it available to you. Plasma is a fast-moving project, and bugs in one version are often fixed in the next one. If you need help with Plasma 5.27.12, please contact your distribution, who bears the responsibility of providing help for older releases that are no longer receiving updates from KDE. If you can reproduce the issue after upgrading to an active version, feel free to re-open this bug report.
Advanced Radio Player Widget is a third-party addon and not officially supported by KDE developers. Please contact the author for assistance

Thank you both for the instant explanations! There seems to be a catch-22 here, because the ARP New Issue page points to here ("Please note that all bug reports and feature requests should be filed on bugs.kde.org and should never be raised here", see attachment). Should I raise an issue there about a misinformation, too, or is there something I have overlooked?

In this case, you can ignore the message that Invent displays - that applies only to official KDE software that does bug tracking on bugs.kde.org (and typically reserves Invent Issues for developer coordination). Advanced Radio Player is a third-party widget that is hosted on Invent, and these projects may use whatever way of reporting issues the developer prefers, but unless they have a category on bugs.kde.org, not here. However, the widgets seems to have seen no activity for two and a half years, so it seems likely the original developer abandoned it.
Thanks -- learning something new every day... And, I agree, it seems it is dead. Closing as no action is required.
