Description Bugs 2026-01-09 20:30:54 UTC
- Start up knetattach
- Select "ssh" as the protocol
- Enter a LAN IP address in the host name
- Enter a non-standard port for Port (with a service running behind that port of course)
- Enter a username and / for Folder
- Select "sftp" for Protocol

Click "Save and Connect"

Observe Host Verification Failure window popping up saying
"The authenticity of host <LAN IP> cannot be established... yadda yadda yadda"
and presenting you with a checkbox control "Do not ask again" and two buttons "Connect Anyway" and "Cancel". Neither of the three - the checkbox or the two buttons respond to any clicks or keyboard navigation attempts.

One may try to cancel the "Examining" attempt in the notifications which frees up those controls, but by that time they are meaningless and do nothing at all.
