coredumpctl debug

SUMMARY
Folder View crashes plasmashell after inputting an empty string in custom location.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. right click on folder view widget and click on "Configure Folder View..".
2. In "Location">"Show">"Custom Location", input any custom location.
3. Remove custom location so that it leaves an empty string and click on "OK" or "Apply"

OBSERVED RESULT
Taskbar and some other plasmashell elements will become unresponsive, if this goes on for long enough, a new window will open saying:
"Not Responding — Plasma Desktop Workspace"
"Desktop Folder Settings" of Plasma Desktop Workspace is not responding. Do you want to terminate this application?"
I attached the coredump as well as relevant journalctl logs and a recording, it takes around two minutes for the terminate application window to show up.

EXPECTED RESULT
no crash

Hm, I tried reproducing this on master, but it doesn't work - when I change it to an empty string, the FolderView widget just displays "Malformed URL". I'll try it on 6.5 when I get the chance.

The backtrace as it is lacks symbols for the interesting bits. Could you please install debug symbols and attach a new symbolicated backtrace generated by using coredumpctl gdb in a terminal window? See https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports#Retrieving_a_backtrace_using_coredumpctl for details about how to do this. Thanks!
