I just got that too this morning in my self-compiled kontact in the master branch. then I restarted and it worked ok. I don't see anything KDE PIM specific in the backtrace. so far its a mystery.
this is Fedora 43, btw
Yes, I'm basically using openSUSE Leap 16.0 but, I've moved the KDE Plasma 6 to the openSUSE KDE Release Gear repositories. Therefore, not the KDE Plasma version which openSUSE ships by default.
No mistery, this is just a Qt bug. https://qt-project.atlassian.net/browse/QTBUG-142720
ok, and that bug says "CLOSED" and "FIXED"
There was an openSUSE update this morning for 283 packages in the KDE Gear repository. It seems to have resolved this issue … libmarblewidget-qt6-28 libkdcraw-qt6 libkexiv2-qt6 were updated.
