# SUMMARY

I have noticed that, once every few months, for at least the previous six months (if not longer / the entire time I've utilised Dolphin), group labels have rendered atop their subordinate filesystem objects, until Dolphin's view has been refreshed.

# STEPS TO REPRODUCE

I believe that file actions may cause this, but am not whatsoever confident. I realise that that's inassistive. However, with this filed, I promise that I shall revisit it when this next recurs, to recount what I performed to cause this.

# OBSERVED RESULT

As https://discuss-cdn.kde.org/uploads/default/original/3X/e/2/e20a53c2c2673627c3b05ccd1a431cdc39b94b50.png demonstrates, the group label renders twice, the bottom one of which renders atop its subordinate filesystem objects.

# EXPECTED RESULT

Group labels should never duplicate, nor render atop other text.

I originally submitted an RFC about this at https://discuss.kde.org/t/has-anyone-else-had-duplicated-group-labels-render-over-their-files-in-dolphin/42997/1?u=rokejulianlockhart#post-1:~:text=duplicated%5D%20group%20labels, but received no response. Consequently, I presume that this is rare, unnoticeable, or so minor that nobody else cares enough to search the internet for it.
