Linux Mint 22 Cinnamon 6.2.9
Kdenlive Version 25.12.0

SUMMARY
Since the program update - Jan 3 2026, something in it changed.
I want to report only one bug - one that is really buggy - sound notifications.
It keeps hitting the room whenever anything happens: whether I try to close the program without saving the project, delete some piece of media, or other such occurences are accompanied with a loud annoying beep.
I need to keep the sound ON, and it keeps waking up my toddler.
I was searching all over Settings - nothing.
The sounds are not coming from the OS.
Please help.

Hello,
thanks everybody for your help.
The problem is resolved: I downgraded to an earlier version. And disabled Updates. So everything is working perfectly now.

Thanks for letting us know it's working properly in the earlier version. I'll leave this open so the kdenlive developers can fix it in the current version.
