Description Stonie R. Cooper 2002-12-02 02:08:41 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.0.5)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
Compiler: gcc 3.2 qt 3.1

KDE 3.0.5, with default konsole (1.2?) compiled with gcc 3.2, against Qt 3.1. Side note - may or may not be related (I have submitted as bug for qt in kdebase and kdebindings); with the new Qt, a class name has changed, and nsplugins (within kdebase) and kdebindings will not compile at all - unresolved object QSenderObject() (Qt has went to a new object QSenderObjectList() - I haven't tried to edit and recompile, as I don't know if the members are the same or similar).

So, I have compiled all but nsplugins for kdebase, kdebindings, and kpilot (on a similar class not being found).

Everything else works - included lib related apps such as konqueror.

konsole compiled and installed without complaint, however - _every_ attempt to start it - from panel, k-menu, or command line - nets the famous Krash screen and a message that konsole has ended with signal 11.
