SUMMARY I've noticed that after waking my laptop from hibernation, KDE's Networks widget forgets my WiFI password and so causes the WiFi password dialog to popup. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Select either "Hibernate" or "Sleep" from within the "Application Launcher" to either hibernate or cause computer to go to sleep. 2. Wait for a few seconds, then press the computer's power button to wake the PC from hibernation or sleep and login Fedora user. 3. OBSERVED RESULT The "Wi-Fi Password dialog" dialog comes on screen asking for my WiFi password. EXPECTED RESULT KDE's Networks widget should remember the Wi-Fi password. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Fedora Linux 43 KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.20.0 Qt Version: 6.10.1 Kernel Version: 6.17.9-300.fc43.x86_64 (64-bit) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I just discovered a solution to my problem. Apparently deleting my Wi-Fi connection and then re-enter my Wi-Fi password causes KDE's Networks widget once again remembers the Wi-Fi password.
Great, thanks for following up!
