SUMMARY Currently you can either set wallpapers per screen OR across all screens. Setting across all screens is great if your screens are all the same resolution and orientation. However in the case where you have three displays, two landscape and one portrait this doesn't work as well. For example, if you wanted your two landscape displays to have one wallpaper slideshow, but the portrait display to have another, you currently can't do that in KDE. Setting the two landscape ones to use the same slideshow is haphazard and often doesn't sync up correctly since its timer based. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Go to Settings --> Wallpaper 2. Set your landscape wallpapers, then your portrait ones OBSERVED RESULT Have the slideshow play out at random, and now they're all mixed up across the landscape screens EXPECTED RESULT I would expect the ability to set wallpapers for multiple monitors at once, or to group them together and configure them at once. One simple idea I had was to be able to Ctrl+Click on the screens you want to set wallpapers for since right now you can only click one at a time. It's an interesting idea, but this isn't something I see us doing. The feature would only ever be seen by people with 3 or more screens, and that's a tiny tiny tiny fraction of users — and all to save like two clicks. I'm not sure this would be worth the effort, sorry.
