SUMMARY Under some conditions, moving a window with a text input (by tapping title bar) will cause collapsed on-screen keyboard to show up again for no reason. This can be annoying since when I move a window around I typically want to see what's in and around it, and not have half the screen covered with plasma-keyboard. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Enable plasma-keyboard in KDE system settings 2. Attach a USB hardware keyboard (important!) 3. Open an app, I tested this with the librewolf browser. It should ideally not be maximized so there is some room to move it around later. 4. Open some dialog or page in the app that has a text input 5. Tap the text input with your finger. The plasma-keyboard should come up. 6. Now on the USB hardware keyboard, press the shortcut for "present windows (current desktop)" twice. This will very briefly show present windows for a split second, and then return to the desktop just as it was, but with plasma-keyboard hidden. The cursor should still be inside the text input inside the app you previously selected. 7. Now put your finger on the titlebar of the app to move it around. OBSERVED RESULT The moment your finger taps the titlebar, plasma-keyboard shoots back up. This seems like a bug. If you use a different approach to hide plasma-keyboard using the button on it for hiding, this won't happen, so it's inconsistent as well. EXPECTED RESULT Tapping the titlebar of an app with a text input, when the app is already focused and the text input is already focused, doesn't cause the plasma-keyboard to show up again.
